  1. Hey thanks! I have a book problem, I see a book that's on clearance and I buy it. So, I shuffled all my books to my computer desk that I haven't read yet and am trying to work my way through them before I buy any more books. The problem with so many books is that I don't know where to start!

  2. Hmm... Let's see. I've read... yeah, none of these. OK.

  3. I am shortly going to read Silence, a novel by Shusaku Endo, a Japanese Catholic writer. It might be of interest to you. If you've never heard of him, do a quick google and look him up. I can't vouch it's a great work, not having read it yet, but it comes with solid endorsement.

  4. "Cutting for Stone," Abraham Verghese. After you read that, read his memoir about working with AIDS patients in East Tennessee.

  5. I think you have to go to Ranter's blog to leave the recommendations. Though I can second Silence. An amazing book ... Christianity in a nutshell.
